Girls will be girls!

Several of the girls in our Christian academy are the happy owners of their very own American Girl dolls! Today, all of them (girls and dolls!) gathered in the nursery to share the fun! Here's Bella with her doll and all the lovely clothes her grandmother made by hand! Bella graciously shared all of them with the other girls. Thank you Bella!

This is just a small sampling of the different outfits and accessories the girls brought to school...

Emily with her beautiful doll Alexandra. They look alike, don't you think so too?!

Gracie with the doll she named Elizabeth... sometimes Gracie wears ponytails just like Elizabeth's!

Brooke with Rebecca, a doll named for a Russian Jewish girl growing up in New York City in 1914. Brooke's doll is part of the American Girl historical series of dolls. She has quite an interesting life story.

Madison with Kirsten, a brave pioneer girl growing up in America in 1854. Madison's Pop gave her this special doll for a Christmas present. Kirsten has been discontinued and Madison is so happy to have her! Madison enjoys American history, even at the age of five.

Ann with her doll named Gwen and Shayna with Kit - a girl who grew up during the Great Depression. Ann and Shayna take very good care of their dolls.

A pair of sandals found on Gwen, Ann's doll...

And a table full of clothes!

American girls (and dolls!) are so blessed and have so much to be thankful for!
